Julia Caitlin Fazzari (she/they) is a queer emerging creative writer, poet, and bookseller living and working on unceded land in Narrm Melbourne. She was awarded First Class Honours in 2021 at Deakin University for her thesis entitled ‘Reclaiming Voices: Greek Mythology as a Looking Glass for Contemporary Women’s Identities’. In 2019, her poetry suite, titled ‘Odyssey to the Otherworld’was Highly Commended in the Judith Rodriguez Prize.

Her interests lie with issues surrounding feminism and environmentalism, but she is also interested in magic and cryptids. In their time away from reading and writing, Julia fantasies about running away to focus on becoming a fairy.
